(Bleacher Report) Manchester City reportedly were in line to secure the services of Atletico Madrid Striker Sergio Aguero earlier this week, with Carlos Tevez expecting to move to Corinthians in Brazil.
However, the move for Tevez has completely broken down with the Argentinian club citing a shortage of cash to seal the deal and once again the frustrated, and rather frustrating, player is once again attempting to get out of Dodge.
This time it appears that he could be headed in a different direction, as it is possible he may only make a switch to a more southern European country rather than all the way back to South America.
Now it seems that he is fully focused on a move to a club in Spain or Italy as the two countries are more culturally similar to his home nation, and his family might be more willing to move there.
After Argentina’s national team was knocked out of the Copa America by a tough and grinding performance by Uruguay this week, he has been spotted on vacation in Sardinia, Italy, but that is not all that has been reported.
He apparently had a meeting, coincidence or not is unknown, with Inter Milan sporting director Marco Branca, according to reports from ESPNsoccernet.com.
In accordance with that Caughtoffside.com broke the story Friday that the Serie A giants are lining up a 50 million Euro deal for the player.
If the move does happen, the combination of Carlos Tevez, Diego Milito and Samuel Eto’o could be one of the strongest in all of Europe’s top clubs.
